1. Introduction
At Outplore, your privacy matters. We use cookies and similar technologies to keep the Platform working, understand how it is used, remember your choices, and (where you allow it) support marketing. This Cookie Policy explains what these technologies are, how and why we use them, and the choices available to you.
This Policy works alongside our [Privacy Policy], which explains more fully how we handle personal information. We may update this Policy from time to time; the “Last Updated” date above shows when it last changed.
2. What Are Cookies and Similar Technologies?
Outplore Inc, 2108 N ST #5999 Sacramento, CA, 95816, USA is the controller (“data fiduciary” under Indian law) responsible for your personal information, except where we act as a processor on behalf of a business customer.
- Pixels / tags — tiny code snippets that record activity such as page views, often used for analytics and advertising;
- Software development kits (SDKs) — code in our mobile apps that performs similar functions;
- Local storage — data stored in your browser or app to support functionality.
Cookies may be first-party (set by Outplore) or third-party (set by our providers, such as analytics or advertising partners). They may be session cookies (deleted when you close your browser) or persistent cookies (which remain until they expire or you delete them).
3. How We Use Cookies
We use cookies to:
- keep you logged in and maintain your session securely;
- remember your preferences, such as language and region;
- understand how visitors find and use the Platform so we can improve it;
- personalize content, recommendations, and community connections;
- where you consent, deliver and measure advertising through partners such as Google and Meta; and
- protect the Platform, detect and prevent fraud, and keep it secure.
4. Categories of Cookies We Use
We group cookies into the following categories, consistent with our Privacy Policy:
| Category |
Purpose |
How consent is obtained |
| Strictly necessary |
Core functions such as logging in, security, load balancing, and remembering your cookie choices. The Platform cannot work properly without these. |

Cookie banner — opt-in toggle |
| Performance / analytics |
Help us understand usage and improve the Platform (e.g., Google Analytics). Analytics tags are only loaded after you accept this category — until then, no data is sent to Google. |
Cookie banner — opt-in toggle; GA4 Consent Mode is used so analytics respect your choice automatically |
| Marketing / advertising |
Deliver and measure relevant ads and limit how often you see them, including across other sites (e.g., Google Ads, Meta). Ad pixels are blocked until you accept. |

5. Third-Party Cookies
Some cookies are set by third parties that provide services on the Platform, such as analytics and advertising partners. The expiry periods for these cookies are set by the provider and are outside Outplore’s control — we cannot shorten or override them from our end. Our mechanism for controlling them is the consent banner: if you decline marketing or analytics cookies, those third-party tags are blocked from firing entirely, so the cookies are never set on your device in the first place. These providers may act as independent controllers of the data they collect and process it under their own policies. We encourage you to review the privacy and cookie notices of providers such as [Google, Meta, and any others you use]. Where we use Google Analytics, we [enable IP anonymization / use Consent Mode] so analytics tags respect your consent choices.
6. Your Choices and How to Manage Cookies
You can control non-essential cookies in several ways. Strictly necessary cookies cannot be switched off because the Platform depends on them.
Cookie banner and preference center. When you first visit, our cookie banner lets you accept or reject categories of non-essential cookies. Rejecting is as easy as accepting. You can change your choices at any time through our [Cookie Settings / preference center].
Consent (EEA, UK, Switzerland, Brazil, and similar regions). Where the law requires it, we place non-essential cookies only after you give consent, and you may withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing.
Opt-out signals and US state rights. Using cookies for advertising and certain analytics may be considered a “sale” or “sharing” / targeted advertising under some U.S. state privacy laws. Where it is, you can opt out through our [“Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information”] control, and we honor recognized opt-out preference signals, including Global Privacy Control (GPC), as a request to opt out.
Browser and device controls. Most browsers and mobile devices let you block or delete cookies and reset advertising identifiers. For more detailed, step-by-step instructions, see your browser’s help pages or an independent guide such as allaboutcookies.org, along with the advertising opt-out pages of your ad partners.
Do Not Track. Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” signal. Because there is no common industry standard for it, we respond to it only where the law requires; we do, however, honor GPC as described above.
7. Effect of Disabling Cookies
If you disable or reject certain cookies, some features may not work as intended — for example, you may be logged out, your preferences may not be saved, or content may be less relevant. Strictly necessary cookies will continue to operate so the Platform can function.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy to reflect changes in technology, our practices, or the law. We will post the updated version with a new “Last Updated” date and, where changes are significant, provide additional notice.
